Fiery Feet Annual Show

Our annual show is a fantastic opportunity for students from some of our classes to display the skills that they have learnt throughout six months of the Fiery Feet calendar. We endeavour to make the show as professional as possible, which means pulling out all the stops regarding costumes, hair and make up, music, lighting, and special effects.

Within our annual show, students demonstrate a wide range of dance disciplines, resulting in an exciting night that has something for everybody. The Fiery Feet Dance Studio annual show is always professionally filmed, and available for parents and relatives to purchase in DVD format.

Annual Show Hair

Unless stated otherwise, please tie hair into a very neat bun for show performances:

  • Neat bun for show performances The bun should not be visible from a front view.
  • No loose sections of hair please.
  • The bun should be very secure, with a generous amount of gel and hairspray, and held in place using a thin bun net of the appropriate colour, and with an adequate amount of Kirby grips of the appropriate colour.

Annual Show Make Up

It is important that all members have exactly the same make up for the show. Unless stated otherwise, please unsure that the following steps are taken:

  • Apply a heavy base coat of liquid foundation to the face and neck. Use a powder foundation as the final layer, to avoid looking shiny.
  • Apply blusher from the apples of the cheeks, up to the hairline, following the line of the cheekbone.
  • Apply a white power eye shadow across the eyelid (right into the inner corners) and right up to the eyebrow.
  • Apply a light green powder eye shadow over the lid and up to the eye socket (follow the line of the eye socket), and take the colour out into a little flick. Then apply a darker shade of green into the eye socket, but not over the lid.
  • Apply black mascara over the top and bottom lashes.
  • Apply a bright red lipstick, no gloss please.
  • Intermediate students and older only: Apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner over the top lashes and out into a little flick, and also apply lip liner before applying lipstick.
