Sophie trained with Macklin Dance Studio from the age of three. As well as participating in numerous showcases and competitive performances as a child, she worked up through accredited examinations with the British Theatre Dance Association in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, acrobatics and lyrical. Since starting teaching for Fiery Feet at the age of sixteen, Sophie completed her final student exams in classical ballet and acrobatics, and began her teacher training with the BTDA. She completed her training in 2014 and has enjoyed being part of making Fiery Feet the thriving company that it is today. In adult life Sophie has performed with Leamington and Warwick Musical Society, Stratford Musical Theatre Society, the Talisman Theatre Company and Coventry Musical Theatre Society.

For Sophie, easily the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing a student grow in confidence. From that very first lesson learning ‘good toes, naughty toes’ through up into our ‘Open’ classes, it is all about learning to be proud, learning the value of hard work, showing sportsmanship, making friends and having LOTS of laughs along the way. She hopes that some of the skills learnt whilst at Fiery Feet will stay with students for life.

Isabelle started attending Fiery Feet aged seven and has been dancing here ever since! Aged thirteen she started as an assistant teacher and she is now in the process of completing her final teaching qualification.

You might catch Isabelle teaching for Fiery Feet at Warwick Preparatory School, Kings High School and All Saints Primary School. Isabelle’s favorite part of being a teacher is seeing her students’ progress with ability, confidence and ambition.

It is a privilege to see the beneficial effect of professional dance instruction for all ages, which gives all students the opportunity to achieve their full potential in the art of dance. For our annual show, I enjoy assisting with a dazzling array of costumes, which helps make the event so spectacular.

Sara started dancing at the age of two, and has never really stopped! She started Fiery Feet Dance studio in 2004, running the first ever session in what was Dragons Health Club (now Pure Gym) on Bedford Street. Sara has loved seeing it grown from strength to strength ever since, and continues to teach classes every Monday evening at the studio. Sara has also been involved in various performance and musical societies, including Spa Opera, Stratford Musical Theatre Society and Side By Side.

Becky started dancing at the tender age of two and trained with the British Theatre Dance Association in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, acrobatics and lyrical. Growing up she participated in many competitions, shows and exams and became a student teacher aged thirteen where her passion for teaching grew. After receiving A*s in both GCSE and A-Level dance, Becky went to university where she obtained a First Class BA Honours in Dance, Drama and Theatre Studies; specialising in contemporary dance and theatre.

Throughout her time training in Liverpool, Becky got the opportunity to perform alongside various dance practitioners from a variety of styles which have inspired her, both technically and creatively. Becky is now also a secondary school teacher and enjoys being able to share her training, in both dance and teaching, with some of the older students at Fiery Feet.

Nicole has enjoyed ballet since the age of three and successfully completed her RAD ballet examinations. She also trained in IDTA Tap and Freestyle disciplines and achieved GCSE Dance, Grade A and A-Level Dance, Grade B. Nicole took her IDTA Ballet Teaching Qualification in March 2016 and passed with Distinction.

Nicole has performed in various dance productions over the years, most notably in the English Youth Ballet’s production of Coppelia in 2005, as well as a number of appearances in The Royal Spa Centre pantomimes. Ballet is her number one passion, and so working at Fiery Feet enables her to share her love for the art, by inspiring the next generation of ballet dancers and nurturing young talent.

Charlotte likes to ensure her classes are fun as well as a full body workout. Each session ends with a ten minute Zumba Toning workout incorporating light weights to ensure a mixture of cardio and toning.  Charlottes background is dance and she trained in all forms of classic dance from the age of three.

Her Zumba classes stay true to the Columbian roots and the passion of the creator of Zumba itself Beto Perez.  New members are always welcome – just grab  a bottle of water and a towel and come along!

Liz has been teaching Pole Fitness for thirteen years, with ten of those being based at Fiery Feet Dance Studio.  Her classes involve women from all walks of life who come together to get fit and have some fun. For Liz, Pole Dancing really does boost confidence and esteem and she feels very fortunate to be a part of that. It’s not just spinning around poles, the Pole sessions are very sociable too and arrange regular social events such as BBQs, post pole drinks and more.
