Our Foundation classes for children aged 2 – Year 1 offer a wonderful introduction to dance, as well as a creative, fun and nurturing environment to enable our youngest students grow in confidence and start to learn the foundations of dance.
Sparklers (Nursery & Preschool) – Designed to introduce your little one to our three core dance genres (ballet, modern and tap) and develop key motor skills in line with the EYFS, whilst growing in confidence and having lots of fun.
Fireworks (Reception) – An exciting dance class which includes our three core dance genres, ballet, modern jazz and tap. Children have the opportunity to be entered for awards based examinations with the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus, participate in our annual show, whilst growing in confidence, making friends and having fun.
Fireworks Plus (Year 1) – An engaging class which includes our three core dance genres, ballet, modern jazz and tap. This class includes the use of more technical dance terminology and develops technique through the use of the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus. Dancers have the opportunity to be entered for examinations and perform in our annual show all whilst gaining in confidence, learning new skills and having lots of fun.
Acrobatics Arts – Acro dance is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique with the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Children learn tricks, balances, flexibility and tumbling skills whilst progressing through the 12 levels of the acrobatic arts syllabus.
Ballet – A class to introduce children the foundations of classical ballet. Classes inspire young dancers through the use of playful and creative elements as well as using the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus. There is also the opportunity to take examinations, whilst growing in confidence, developing an understanding of ballet technique making friends and having lots fun.
