Beginner

Our Foundation classes for children aged 2 – Year 1 offer a wonderful introduction to dance, as well as a creative, fun and nurturing environment to enable our youngest students grow in confidence and start to learn the foundations of dance.

Our Beginner classes are for children in year 2 to year 5 and offer students the opportunity to learn a greater range of dance styles, develop their dance knowledge further through progressive and fun classes.

Infants & Juvenile Combination – Exciting and structured dance classes which include our three core dance genres, ballet, modern jazz and tap. Children develop through the use of the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus, have the opportunity to take examinations and participate in our annual show, whilst growing in confidence, developing performance technique, making friends and having fun.

Acrobatics Arts – Acro dance is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique with the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Children learn tricks, balances, flexibility and tumbling skills whilst progressing through the 12 levels of the acrobatic arts syllabus. Children also have the opportunity to try out for our Acro Squad.

Ballet – Creative and structed classes which enable students to progress further in their understanding of correct ballet technique. Classes inspire young dancers through the use of engaging and creative elements, as well as using the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus. There is also the opportunity to take examinations, whilst growing in confidence, developing performance skills, making friends and having lots fun.

Lyrical – Lyrical dance embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. Within this class students explore a range of styles whilst developing expression and performance skills. Students learn the British Theatre Dance Association syllabus, have the opportunity to take examinations and participate in our annual show.
